Parking Policy for Sunset Shores Resort

- Unauthorized Parking:
1.1.
All vehicles parked within Sunset Shores must be authorized and registered.
Unauthorized parking includes but is not limited to: a) Parking in designated
no-parking areas b) Parking in reserved or assigned parking spots without
permission c) Parking in areas obstructing traffic flow or emergency access d)
Parking in areas not designated for parking (e.g., grassy areas, pedestrian walkways)
e) Parking without payment of the required fees by a camper, guest, or visitor
f) Visitors parking outside the designated visitor parking area g) Campers
parking without displaying a valid and complete car tag
1.2.
Any unauthorized vehicle found parked within Sunset Shores may be subject to
penalties and enforcement measures, including booting and removal at the
owner's expense.
- Nonpayment:
2.1.
All visitors and guests must pay the appropriate parking fees as outlined by Sunset
Shores' fee schedule.
2.2.
Failure to pay the required parking fees within the designated time frame will
result in penalties and enforcement measures, including booting and removal at
the owner's expense.
- Vehicle Registration:
3.1.
All vehicles parked within Sunset Shores must be properly registered and
display a valid parking pass or permit.
3.2.
Failure to register a vehicle or display a valid parking pass may result in
penalties and enforcement measures, including booting and removal at the
owner's expense.
- Enforcement Measures:
4.1.
Upon discovery of an unauthorized, non-paying, or unregistered vehicle, Sunset
Campground reserves the right to take the following enforcement measures:
a)
Initial Warning: A warning notice may be placed on the vehicle, notifying the
owner of the violation and the potential consequences.
b)
Booting: If the violation persists or is severe, a boot may be placed on the
vehicle. The boot will immobilize the vehicle until payment of outstanding fees
and penalties is made.
c)
Vehicle Removal: If the violation remains unresolved after booting, or if
deemed necessary by Sunset Shores, the vehicle may be towed or removed from the
premises at the owner's expense.
5.
Expulsion, Costs and Indemnification:
5.1.
Any costs incurred for booting, removal, or towing of a vehicle due to
unauthorized parking, nonpayment, or registration violations are the sole
responsibility of the vehicle owner.
5.2.
By parking within Sunset Shores, vehicle owners hereby acknowledge and agree to
indemnify and hold harmless the owners of Sunset Campground, its employees,
contractors, and affiliates from any liability, claims, damages, or expenses
arising from the enforcement measures, including booting and removal, incurred
as a result of unauthorized parking, nonpayment, or registration violations.
5.3.
Vehicle owners further acknowledge that Sunset Shores assumes no responsibility
for any damage, loss, or theft of personal belongings within the vehicle during
the enforcement process.
5.4
Continued offences by a registered camper, a registered
campers visitors, or guest to Sunset Shores may lead to them being banned from
the park or in the case of a registered camper, being expulsed from Sunset
Shores without reimbursement of seasonal fees paid.
By
parking within Sunset Shores, vehicle owners are deemed to have read,
understood, and agreed to abide by this parking policy, including the
associated penalties and enforcement measures. Sunset Shores reserves the right
to modify or amend this policy as necessary without prior notice.
